There are generally two distinct ingredients to creating effective and fully collaborative teams - the first is the need for a team identity & common purpose; and the second addresses the cohesion and successful integration between team members. So many corporate ’team away days’ fail to address both these aspects and are therefore deemed a ‘waste of time’ by participants and completely ineffective.
