Metricate has been appointed by one of The Sunday Times Best 100 Companies 2010 to deliver the second phase of its innovative management academy.
The company will work alongside Essex-based support services provider, Lakehouse, to provide blended learning around key areas of management competence. This includes: management and leadership styles, communication skills, and performance management – vital ingredients in managing any programme of change.
Metricate was initially brought on board to support directors and middle management to effectively implement major expansion plans. Lakehouse has achieved significant growth in the last 18 months, increasing turnover to around £105 million with significant wins that include Camden Council’s extensive social housing project.
Peter Alder, founder and managing director of Metricate, commented: “We have implemented a finely tuned programme that has supported Lakehouse’s management team in setting and realising a comprehensive business plan for the organisation.
“This critical strategic work could not have taken place without managers receiving a solid foundation in leadership and management principles – gained through the Lakehouse Management Academy. To be asked to undertake a second academy project is fantastic recognition of the programme’s value to the company.”
Ken Power, Organisational Development Director at Lakehouse, commented: “The academy has been a remarkable success; therefore, the decision to embark on a second academy programme was an easy one to make. Metricate has significantly helped our management team to develop both competences and confidence in managing their own teams.”
